View Full Version : Need help with Motion Blur

Take a look at this picture:

I was working with the motion blur filter (just the Photoshop one). I selected the car with the lasso, then selected the inverse and applied the filter. The problem I had was that after the motion blur, I got pretty bad aliasing around the edges of the car. I used the history brush and was able to get rid of it for the most part. Any suggestion on how to avoid this? Does KPT 6 have better filters?

After you make your selection go to Selection > Feather and feather the edges of the select about 1 or 2 pixels. That should smooth out the edges. You have some cute babies Jesse ! :chuckles:

if you really want to single something out in photoshop...use quick mask...hit the quick mask button (the second square on the bottom half of the tool bar) and color the thing you want to single out (default color is red). When you go back to normal view, the thing you colored will be the selection.
