Hello all,
Serious newbie here. Just sold my RX-7 (2nd gen) and going to buy a GT-S. I've got a couple of small kids who need car seats...wife has a minivan but once in a while may need to transport them.
So...anyone out there ever try to fit a car seat in the back of a 7th Gen Celica? I'm going to find one at a dealer to find out if noone knows...
Thanks
Yes, I've fitted one in my Celica. How many children require to be in a car seat? For my god-daugther, I had to push the passenger seat all the way to the front just for the seat to sit correctly (back of car seat facing front windshield).
Depending on the age of your children and if you can use a regular car seat (not reverse sitting) then there should be more space available.

Thanks, people. I've got a couple of kids under 6 but over 1.5, so this should work. Thought I was going to have to go with an Integra GS-R if the car seats were impossible.
OVer the age 1.5yrs, young child can be seated in a front-position car seat, right? If so, then definately, there will be space. My g-d's seat is horrible in my car, it takes too much space - she's only 13mo.

i used to have to pick up my little cousins and bring them to preschool or daycare and one had a booster seat and one had a carseat that was huge and i fit them both in my car with no problem. they had plenty of leg room and head room. it just took me awhile to get the carseats in to where they were perfect.

I fit my Sons front facing seat in the back of my GT-S just about everyday with no problems.

Thank you, all. I just tested my 2 year old son's huge car seat in the back of a GT-S, and there was no problem, as various ones of you have said. So I think there's no question any longer...Thanks!
