HID Fog Color for Carbon blue

I have a 00 Carbon Blue with 6000k low beams 9005 hella bulbs for the high beams and el cheapo pep boys fog lights which i never use.
i wanted to hear your opinions and see pictures of celicas with yellow fogs, or fogs that match the low beam.

should i go with 6000k fogs (matching lows) or 3000k fogs JDM like.
i live in new york its very dark at night, which is best for bling and visibility?

If you have frequent fogs, 3000k would be pratical....

i usually always have my fogs on, but when i got my HID i stoped cause they dont match, they look horrible and dont really light anything up that the HID doesnt. i cant really see **** in the rain either

is it possible to put a bulb cover on an HID bulb. like the covers used on the lexus is300. and if i bought a 6000k kit, could i use that same ballast with a 3000k bulb set?

I don't have picture, but it will look like those older Lexus car with yellow fog light.. but brighter.....

You can put bulb cover as long as there are enough room, fog light usually don't have much room there... Celica fog will fit regular size H3 bulb...
Ballast is same, you can use either 6000k and 3000k bulb...

You don't need mini H3 for the Celica fog light...
Regular H3 HID bulb works fine....

well i got my kit today but the guy sent me 9006 bulbs instead of H3. so i guess im going to be playing the waiting game once again.

both, my kit is supposed to be h3 6000k and im going to buy 3000k bulbs as well

where do i get my power from when doing HID on fogs, i connect everything to the factory harness and the HIDs wont start
the ballast and bulbs all work but nothing its not starting up with my foglight switch

Why don't swith the wires, you might not connected right... maybe it's reversed

my dad figured it out
turns out the housing is conected to the factory harness and the ballest is grounded to the housing itself, not connected to the harness.

now i have on minor kink
for some reason my passenger side fog light is a very deep yellow
while the other is a very pale almost white yellow color
whats up with that?
