Gonna get a GTS

just wondering what everyone thinks about color on the Celica. i'm getting a 2001 GTS manual for my HS graduation and i'm not sure what color i want. i don't mind black/white/silver. i kinda want silver but what do you guys think??

well mine is black, and let me tell you if you get a black one be prepared to wash it twice a week :/
I originally wanted a white one, but they didnt have any so i got black, I love the color, just hate washing the car so much :(

Ditto on that the carbon blue blows... I wanted spectra but settled for carbon blue. I think the spectra blue is the best looking, but I think if I was gonna get another one I'd get white.

Spectra blue mica is the best looking one, but silver is second to none. Most celica I see on the road is either silver or red. I have a silver one and I love my color.. Go with silver, it is easy to keep clean and chicks dig silver ride....ehehhhe

Carbon Blue is hard to keep clean but when it's clean, and I mean clean and polished with Zaino, no other color looks better. IMHO

ok - so out of white/black/silver which would you guys get?

oh and also - can i see a pic of the carbon blue and spectra blue - is there a big difference in the colors? or...i've seen blue Celica's but not sure which is which from the carbon/spectra or wahtever..

i like Black and White... i own a Black.. and i love it. but i think White is just as great.

I own a white Celica, and I think that it's the best color IMO. White is a color that a ton of people told me NOT to get.

LIke my friend told me to get a Silver one, I then drove up with the white gt-s and he goes "Wow, that looks awesome in white".....

It's your call., do you have the ability to actually look at them all sitting on the lot? SILVER IS EVERYWHERE.

i have a white gt-s, it looks nice when clean, and at night it shines, but when it rains and gets dirty, it doesnt really show until your next to the car. my sister has a black cr-x and that car shows everything, scratches, dirt, and plus its freak'n hot in the summers. but what-ever color you get, its still going to look nice.

I originally wanted to get the Spectra Blue Mica, but was told I would have to wait 4 months to get one made and then shipped from Japan. So I went with white. Love it to death. When you add carbon fiber gooides as I have there is a nice contrast. Plus white stays a lot cooler in the hot Nevada heat.

I have red... and it's the best color for sporty car...
Right after it's washed... it's so sexy.. turns me on... LOL
Well... what ever people say... red is the #1 choice for sporty car....
I wanted the white.. but it's a sporty car.. so it'll be dull....
There are way too many silver and white in Las Vegas... that is out of the question for me.... I don't see that many red/blue so... It stands out... people look at my car all day long.... well.. maybe I have kit.. but it stands out from most of the cars when I drive around.... and.. yea.. police could pick my car out from miles away.. ke ke ke

just get spectra blue and make sure it's cleaned/waxed properly all the time...you'll stand out in a line of other celicas :)

ahahah Andrew - you always say that but you know you're not gonna sell it...and besides you said IF...IF you do it'll be stripped so i don't want it stripped. i'd take it if you kept everything on it maybe but yea - and i want manual so...

If I were to get another celica, I would choose carbon blue or black. Those are dead sexy when clean... I didn't go with them originally because they are hard to keep clean.

I love silver because the color is neutral and it makes the car look more classy and expensive. (thats what I went with).

My favorite car color in the past has always been white, but honestly for the celica, white just didn't do it for me. White seems to hide a lot of the celica lines.

Red is nice and goes together well with sports cars/coupes, but it gets too much attention (especially when driving fast).

Spectra mica blue is a nice color too, but I think I would get tired of seeing so much blue after awhile...

There are a large margin of silver celicas, but I think there are enough of all the colors on the road that popularity shouldnt be a factor in your decision.

I say go with the color that YOU like best.
