My new trunk set up...

Finally got this new box installed. Went with the 12" Orion XTR Pro subwoofer to match up with my amp.

Very Nice install. Did you do it yourself? If so how? If not, how much did it cost and where did you go to get it done. I want to do something just like that..

H/U, Amp's, Alarm and front speakers were all installed by TWEETER.

I paid appx. $500 for the install of above units including 4 guage speaker wire (appx. 30-40 ft) and 4 guage power wire.

I purchased the custom sub box from this forum and then just ordered a new Orion XTR Pro 12" sub for it. I did the install on that, which was just a matter of a little paint (changed the color of the box from red to silver), some fill (around the speaker wire outlet) and some weather stripping (around the sub opening) to get the box completely air tight. Then it was just a matter of hooking up the new box to the old lead wires, bolt it down and ready to rumble...and oh my, does it rumble!!! This sub literally shakes my whole car. i am afraid i will blow out my back window!

Going from a 10" sub to a 12" sub makes a HUGE difference.
