You can take it off with a little srewdriver........ very easy to do...

is that the same even if you have the sun roof? idunno im gonna go mess with it today and i hope i dont break it... i could see toyota charging about 150 for that thing

then grab hold and just pull it off...finesse it..it'll come right off...don't worry about breaking anything..ya really can't...
fairly easy...but i can understand being afraid of jackin' something up.....Toyota's rediculous when it comes to service....
