"Nissan scored 152 problems, up from 145 last year, while Volkswagen had 152 problems, down from 159. "
Nissan is in deep doodoo. A car needs more than HP to sell.

the majority of the car is built like a rock. engine/tranny working great, but then again it's only 25-26k miles now. i do run it hard, and i've had some issues with hydrolock and other stuff, so i dunno how it's gonna last in terms of 100-200k miles.
problems (NOT because of me messing with things ;) )
1) sunroof squeaks to no end
2) a-piller rattles/squeaks
3) something in the back, hatch or hatch cover squeaks/rattles to no end
4) stock shocks are nearly completely worn out after 24k miles on new york roads. no suspension mods, i drive like a granny. tires are on their way out too but that was expected. i think the jarring ride from worn shocks is what caused everything else to rattle itself to pieces
5) front right sidemarker worked itself loose and burned a hole in the wheel well. bulb/sidemarker still work, i just had to duct tape it so it stayed put and scotch tape on the bulb itself cuz now that got loosened up.
6) front bumper scraped to hell and back, not lowered. i can only do so much to avoid scraping on streets in this damned state.
i have some old hondas that also have a zillion rattle/squeak/electronics problems like that, but their engines/transmissions are in mint condition after 150-200k miles easy.

If you use this site as a barometer, then 10% of the people hear ,which is less than 10% of Celica owners total, have real problems. So, that is 1%. Sounds good to me.
Way to GO toyota!.... some of you toyota owners though have some bad luck ..... hope it doesnt rub off on me ... STAY AWAY!
lol j/k:ugh:

In 12k miles my C5 corvette has been in the shop a total of six weeks. THAT is the quality you COULD have. Be happy!

11+ years, 121K miles and my 91 Camry LE V6 has never been in the shop. Hopefully my SC'd 2000 Camry XLE will be the same.
