does coilovers eventually start knocking after X amoutnt of time..? i have been experiencing knocking that i thought i fixed by tightening the upper nut but the knocking seems to be coming back on all 4 coils... its not squeeking but it sounds like the coils are shifting in place or moving around... what could be some permanant solutions...
btw i have TEIN HA's and they are set as
Fronts: 8 soft
Rears: 12 hard

Tightening the upper nut will brake the valving inside of your coilovers. It sounds like all four of them need to be revalved.

They don't revalve themselves. I would take them off and test them or at least inspect them for leaks.

im not sure if revalving was the issue though.. it was making a physical clanking noise cuz i think the bolt wasnt tight enough but i have a friend that works for toyota and he helps me build my car up so ill ask him to check and see if it needs to be revalved...
btw i like the ricky oh sig
