A guy I used to work with was telling me all the crap he planned on doing to his eclipse...Mind you he really doesn't know alot about what he can do. Guess he has too much money.
Anyway has anyone fiberglassed a kit to there car after install. Like a bolt on replacement bumper then fiberglass to mold it into the cars body. Do people really do this?

I have seen people try to do this most of the time people will use Bondo but if they really want to do it right you should use Dina Glass( not sure of the spelling???). It only makes the kit more permanent and is a pain to get the car apart later if something happens to it. I would not do this to my car unless it is only going to be driven once in blue moon or for show only.

I would never mould a kit to my car if it was daily driven. Too much can and WILL happen. All it takes is one large pothole, one ditzy female driver or some huge chunk of roadkill to totally ruin your kit and your moluding. I'd do this stuff only to showcars that never see the road.

My friend has a 2000 eclipse with the blitz kit. he hasa his sideskirts and rear molded and it looks perfect. I would consider paying the extra cash if you want to win some shows becuse up close it really makes a differance.

Once I get my new kit from my sponsor, I am having it the sides and possibly the rear molded to my car. My friend Dallas does all kinds of stuff with fiberglass, so I get a really good deal.
