hey everyone,

here's what i plan on doing but i have a few questions

trd body kit and wing
silver (preferably stock) paint job for whole car including body kit and wing

questions:
1) is ebay an ok place to go to for a replica trd body kit and wing or should i just get the authentic ones from trdracing.com (the cheapest i've been able to find them)? the ebay ones are like 500 shipped but i know its not the real deal and the real deal ones are like 2000+shipping which is really expensive, please tell me what would be the better deal to go with

2) about how much should it cost for me to get my whole car painted with the trd body kit and wing installed? is 3000 a good deal? thats what the place i was referred to quoted me, and i've learned there aren't too many places that do paint (from one color to another) in my area (santa clarita, ca near six flags magic mountain) but i haven't looked in the phone book yet. also the guy there recommended that i go authentic trd cuz it would be easier to paint and install, is that true? cuz if it is i might just try doing that when i can afford them

thanks for all your help, any more details i can get that i'm not asking about would be appreciated. lata

1. Don't get an ebay one. Fitment will be bad. If you want a replica one, pm Jintei and see if he has any left.

2. Someone will answer it

check the phonebook and get as many prices as you need. but you'll definitely need more than one, just to get competetive prices. $3k sounds good. I was thinking between 2500-4k.

Shop around for a good one, and ask friends, the best references is someone whose been there before

well the replica is fiberglass which is easier to paint but will require more work to look right and also has the ability to break easier, the authentic is ABS Plastic or Urethane cant remember but is a little harder to paint but easier to install and will not damage as easy, and than also you can say you have a real TRD bodykit instead of the Techno R kit or whatever its called
