OK. My stock antenna is on as tight as a 12 year old virgin girl. So my question. How the hell am I supposed to get the damn thing off. I even tried pliers and when I twist they are bending the little screw thing (flat on opposite sides, rounded on the other 2 opposite sides). Thing is a little bitch to get off. Anyone else had this problem? It's pissing me off something awful! I want to put on my damn S2000 Antenna! :(
Thanks guys!

I got my antanae off by using pliers and a rag. It helped soften it so it wouldnt strip it bad. Just wrench it off!! :D

geez, my was on hand tight. just turn'd it to the right and it was off. the factory must have torque'd it hard.
but like what mr2 quik said, a rag and pliers should get it loose, maybe a few drops of wd-40 may help loosen it up.
good luck man.

Nanja: She told me she was 18!!!
Yeah, I'll try a wrench (and I'm assuming it has to be a pretty small one), and I'll try the rag and the pliers.
Thanks for the tips guys!

Update on this. Since I think you guys really want to know! Right? Right?!!
I finally got my S2000 antenna on. Funny thing was I was drunk when I finally got the stock antenna off!! I'm pretty sure I was turning it the right way both times. But I used an adjustable wrench and I finally got the damn thing off. The ride looks hella better with the s2000 antenna instead of that damn radio tower.

nope, i still get all the channels. from what ive heard the fm antenna is apart of the rear window. the antenna is for am stations. dont qoute me on that, but yeah you'll still get your fm stations with the s2000 antenna.

I know people won't believe me on this, but my radio reception has been better since I have gotten the S2000 antenna. Don't ask me why though. Anyways, I was happy to get rid of that lightning rod I used to have on the car.

No, there is only one antenna for both AM & FM.
