looking to get a new head unit, need mp3 capabilities/flac support/ipod jack. any recommendations?

Last pioneer headunit i had, after 3 months, buttons were stuck, it skipped everytime i hit a pothole and CD's would get stuck

Go for Alpine or Kenwood!!! :thumbup:

i currently have a kenwood in there, that the previous owner installed. thing freakin' blows. its a constantly colour changing model... i guess that was cool in 98 but all it does is distract me, as some colours are significantly brighter than the others. besides that, it skips, has goofy navigation, and is ugly as sin.

Eclipse has good headunit but they are f*cking ugly

i have the pioneer 7700 mp headunit. awesome headunit. you can buy an adaptor made specifically for this headunit that plugs into your ipod and you can control the ipod through the headunit. i freakin love it....

got this one too.. and mine i can control through my pod.. gotta figure out wtf is up lol.

but i would recommend a pioneer or panasonic.. panasonic has the best headunits out there right now.
