Ok, here's an idea....

Think we could manage to move the gas cap up about a foot and back about a foot and a half onto the angle on the body that kinda faces upwards, and outfit it with an Audi TT gas cap? Can it be done? Input please......

honestly, it could be done with alot of bondo and alot of money...also, u gotta remember that the tube inside has to be moved around as well...it might not be worth the trouble...and honestly, it might not look right, since the TT coupe is an egg shaped car and the celica is wedge shaped.

it'll cost around $1200 to do something like that. I though about that long time ago but i dont think its worth the money(for now)

how would you exactly fit a gas cap on a 90 degree corner?

maybe the flat piece right in front of the antenna but on the other side is wide enough though.. but then you'd be sure to drip whenever you fuel up and then take out the pump out of the nozzle...

Yeah GTS LAID, I am taling about the part in front of the antenna... but on the opposite side. I thought it would be damned expensive... but also damned cool. ahhh, I'll do it when I win the lottery.
Hey Celica70... are you putting the '00 eclipse cap right on topo of where the stock cap is? Be sure to post some pics....

everything's possible as long as you have money. You can counter sunk the cap on the body, even tho it'll not look like a flush finish but it still looks good.

ok.. lets forget about looks and assume it'll look awesome and can be done... what about gassing up... when you pull it out every time you're sure to drip all over the paint... and here in NJ we cant by law pump our own gas.. so i dont want no gas pumping fool dripping all over my car.

Get the TRD Clear Fuel lid cover. The Audi TT one is nice... but the clear lid cover goes with the lines of the car better.

the 00 eclipse gas lip fits perfect, just take off the stock square one and mold and fiberglass the eclipse one on, if you guys knew anything about fiberglassing and molding is so incredible easy you dont understand. Im helping the bodyshop do my. and im molding my RMM sides on also.

Hmmmm...... interesting. I def wanna see pics now celica70.
(and a summary of prices and cost of labor would be cool too)
And as far as the TRD gas lid goes... well, it IS $200... kinda pricey.. I wouldnt mind spending a little more and getting sometime much more unique.

Thats kinda what I thought.... if they sold it for 100, they'd sell a lot more.

There was a Celi at the Auto Salon in Geneva (Swizz) 2000. It looks damn good. But its not worth the money
