TRD Supercharger

I have couple questions i was looking around at superchargers and never really found any that said to be just for a toyota celica gt but i found lots of them for corrolla's and matrix's and was wondering would those supercharges for my celica also?

If so does there need to be any modifcation or anything like that?

What else will i need too other than the supercharger and ecu to have my car superhcarged

The TRD SC works on the Celica but you have to get a new hood to clear it. There are a couple guys on this forum that have them. Search and you shall find.

But the kit i was looking at says its for a 03 corolla or matrix..so if i were to order that then i would be ok

well you definitely need the hood. not positive about the throttle body or other stuff, but it will not clear the stock hood

Yes, exactly the same engine. But like everyone is saying, you'll need the AIT Racing hood.

so imhotep how much hp did your gain with trd supercharger, and do you have any problems with it?

^^he does not have the TRD charger, he has a GTS. so most likely is running the greddy kit, or blitz

the throutle body is a must to get, have to get it used from somewhere bc if you are planing on getting it new it is about 1k.. you all know toyota, they will try to rip you off the the parts.

You need to do some searching bud, Sleeprgt , myself and others have researched this topic to the hilt, one you can't run the ECU from the factory because you can't plug into it" Harness from the ECU from Toyota is meant for a Matrix or Corolla. and also too look into a stand alone fuel computer, (SAFC )or e-manage , and if you get the e-manage go to www.boomslang.us and pick up the harness that is already made so it's plug and play. get a matrix xr throttle body, a new belt, HOOD (http://www.strictlycarbon.com/0005-toyota-celica-bmagic-supercharged-carbon-fiber-hood-p-18623.html) and whoever said it was CARB approved?

The supercharger has been discontinued. You need to find it used. You need a hood, TB, standalone and tuning.
