Shipping isn't expensive at all. It's around a $1000 to get it shipped to Europe or from Europe.

Those pics were taken the day after i picked it up from the port, Since then its been wash nd polished up =P. These model Celicas go for around 16K-20K factory here, Cost me 7K for the car and 2K for shippng also another $900NZ for on road costs, Which i still need to do. Iv only driven this car round the block under 3500RPM and i was blown away! its like no other car iv driven, I cant wait to Let it lose lol :AF:

i just went to NZ a couple weeks ago and car prices are crazy cheap its awesome. ecept celicas they cost a bit, was surprised celicas cost more then the MR-S.
Driving NZ was amazing, Dunedin to Queenstown going through all the mountains, best roads ive ever been on...too bad i couldnt bring the celica there to rip it up
Anyway have fun man, u got an awesome deal :) !!

Take it past 6000rpm and I'm sure you'll have a grin on your face. I know I did the first time I drove mine. Congrats on your buy and welcome to the board.

hmmm... A debadged GT-S, you don't see that too often. I only know of a couple people who had ever wanted to do that. Car looks real good like it is in the pictures you posted here, and I bet with a good wash it would look even better.
Also I personally have never seen a Celica that had a roof mounted antenna... I wonder if you can still do the S2k antenna swap on that. :gap:
Nice Purchase

I think its only North American Celicas that have the stupid steel azs poker ... I like the euro antennas. :wiggle:

Put a CAI on it 1st... it seems to already have an aftermarket exhaust. Nice deal. Welcome to the board. You will find it to be a great resource for your new toy(ota).

Nice car I imported mine too from Japan. Seems that there is a grounding kit installed. Did you have a GPS Navigation system Installed , if yes is it in Japanese and what type of GPS Navi you have ? You will also need to clean the engine bay it kinda look very dirty, mine too was like that ..

Why am i going to be a mailman?...lol
Unfortantly my Celica arrived with no GPS/CD player due to theift on board the boat, It left Japan with a CD player and arrvies with none lol. I'll just save up and put a Kenwood in or something. Due to the extreme polution in japan it came very dirty like most cars, Its all clean now =D. How much did yours cost to import?
