somebody meet up w/ me and let me hear your car! after about 5 minutes of careful listening, I believe I have pinpointed my problem! I think I'm having valve lash! The car is making a very disturbing ta-ta-ta-ta noise at idle. I need somebody to compare to, and quickly!

yup, mine makes that along with 30 or so other wierd noises. and my CEL decided to make a permanent comeback yesterday too.
