Cockpit space

Ok so I'm a baseball cap kind of guy and I'm only about 5' 6" but it's pretty tight in there. I don't pick up my '02 GT-S for a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if I'll have to give up the cap...tho' it'd sure be worth it.

just put your seat back down... i had some trouble with a helmet but i'm 6'2" and i like to sit kinda upright at the auto-x

Right on! I didn't want to stop wearing a cap 'cause I'm pretty cool looking with it on. Of course, with a great car like the celi nobody's gonna' notice me, right?

You shouldn't have any problems, I am 5'6" and I wear hats and still have plenty of room for my head. And I have to have my seat as high as possible to just be barely able to see over the wheel.

That's funny. I'm half Japanese and Swiss-German, and I'm 5'11". I sometimes wear a hat of some sort, and only sometimes do I complain. One time there was a steep sudden ditch in the road, and instead of my head hitting the ceiling, the rebound caused my head to hit the window. It sucked.

bro, I'm 6'5" and I bought a celica gt-s because it was the only car in its class where i had no problems getting in or out and I can easily reach all 3 pedals without having my long legs get in the way if the steering wheel. I wear a hat all the time- no problem. I do have my seat all the way back and tilted pretty far as well. So no passenger behind me, but thats ok. You'll be alright.

Cool. I get the idea the cap is a keeper. It's just a bit weird because right now I drive a Mazda MX3-GS which is pretty short in the front and the celica seems somewhat longer so I feel the need to move the seat back up and the whole seat forward. But I can get used to a modified seating position.

I am 5'10 and when i wear a hat, i am at the borderline of hitting the roof (but i got a sunroof)

but i got no complaints, i like how the cockpit sits low, when me and my girl are getting our kinks, it feels like we're lying down almost

5'9"-10" ish, i can wear a hat, i can wear a helmet.. the helmet rubs just a tad on the moonroof trim, but it's tolerable
