I bought the megan front strut bar and now have the ebay brand which is the exact same design. They work fine and I would personally recommend them if you don't want to spend a lot of money for very little difference. I like spending $25 instead of $200.

The brand name stuff wont even have that big of a difference. I say its more for looks than anything.

they will probably work for you. Megan uses cheaper material which makes their bars a bit easier to bend under heavy stress.

However, unless your suspension setup goes completely balls to the wall you will never see that much stress on those parts in your celly.

To do it up right, get something like RMM or C-One under there.

xrage, I have a Tanabe front st. twr bar that's in really good condition. I'll sell it to you for cheap. Probably cheaper than what you'll pay for the megan shipped. PM me.

They're not very good in comparison to APR, RMM/APC, Carbing, or TRD. Like what was said above, they flex, so the whole purpose of stiffening the chassis is thrown out the window.

They will bend and flex even under a little bit of pressure. If you're using it as a show piece, yeah ok. But if you bought it for a performance enhancement...go return it, it's not going to help prevent chassis flex.

I had a megan rear strut tower bar. Never had an issue with it. It did flex slightly if i yanked on it really hard. And I did feel a slight difference when i added it.

My setup was

Tanabe SS coilovers
Megan Rear strut tower Bar
Hypermotive Front Strut bar

Doesn't help the fact that it's still a piece of crap.
