View Full Version : How can I fix my bumper?

I was on the highway and the car in front of me kicked up a large tire. My bumper hit the tire. Here are some pics of the damage.

I need to pop the pieces back into place. Would unscrewing the screws underneath my bumper allow me to do so?

Perhaps its time for a bodykit :) :) :) But I'd like to fix this for now

rubbing compund should take all of that out

Yup...I just took care of the rubber residue...its nice and clean now...

But how do I pop the peices back together?

It looks like it just popped out of place .... i took my lip spoiler off, to put the TRD lip spoiler on , and i must say that i see NO damage! Ya Just unscrew the lip spoiler and put that lip back over that lip neer the fog light hole ... and bingo !! nice perfect work.
Hopefully it didnt warp it.

OK...no tailgating for me anymore...
But you should tell that to the guy that rear ended me this morning. Jeez...what bad luck.

I'm gonna get a quote from the bodyshop to repaint my bumper and the guy said he would reimburse me :) Jeez...the signs seem to point to a body kit for me. But with all this bad luck on my exterior I fear for the bodykit.

Time to decide on a body kit now...hmm...blitz maybe. Perhaps WingsWest.

yeah all you got to do is unscrew it and realign it and use some rubbing compound and you should be all set
