View Full Version : Standard or extended TRD exhaust?

Will the standard length TRD exhaust work with the TRD rear valance or is the extended one needed? The reason I ask is I was thinking about picking up the standard length one because I wouldn't want it to stick out too far and look ricey. I've read some threads indicate that the extended length sticks out far enough to be a step.

you need the extended, the standard will look retarded. the extended is made for the rear valance. If you have just the stock bumper dont get it unless you are thinking about getting a body kit

I have the standard length with the TRD rear. Given the choice to do it again I would probably go with the extended version.

Thanks for the photo. How much further out does it stick out than the TRD rear valance?

it sits pretty much flush with the TRD rear.

the extended version doesn't stick out too badly at all. here's my extended version just to give you more visuals:

LOL yeah? Maybe in the winter, I don't drive my car in the winter so I'll have the time for it to sit, we could just trade that secondary end. Not the canister part. :)
