Toyota took 4 out of 6 classes again in Houston with Bottle's car winning again. Rado and his Celica were no where to be found?

toyota has been doing well over all, if you get a chance to see the rome nt results for auto-x 5 out of the top 10 in g-stock sharp taking the class, and tim aro really tearing up c-stock in his spyder. Go toyotas!

I guess it's easier to run a good time when you're not racing anyone. :D

You've drag raced before. You can relax a little when you just want to run a good time and don't have to be as risky to win. You could argue he ran slower because he didn't have to win. But the article did say it was his best time. It's easier to keep from cracking when there's less pressure there.

Why would an empty lane effect the time? It is however easier to win....:)

Yes, I have drag race considerably and no matter how relaxed I was it did not effect the speed of the car. No impact, nada, nil etc. :)

Anyone know if Rado's Celica is running yet, or is TRD still jerking him around? It doesn't look like Paisley's TRD Tundra ran at Houston either. Anybody know what the scoop is?

They had it running somewhat at Atco and the last they posted was that they would be in Houston, have no idea why they weren't there.

What's up Guys!! Well the saga continues..... we got held up with the wiring of the car. We temporarily had TRD's engine dyno harness in the car, but we needed to permanently wire it. It was only supposed to take 2-3 days but ended up taking 5 days. We are getting ready to leave for San Antonio for the NDRA race then we will be back at our hometown track maple Grove for the NHRA race. We figured out a lot of bugs so hopefully we should be able to at least run mid 8's if not lower. We really need to get out there and start showing these guys what's up!!
Later Guys,
Jay
