I finally finished an Overlay for the AC Vents:). I am really pleased with the results, and I hope you are too. I decided to go with a two tone (Blue/Silver)kit for my car, since I'm pretty much going with that color scheme throughout. It will be offered in both 2-tone and 1 color kits.
acv1(one color)Kit $20
acv2(2-color)Kit $24
Canadian residents please add $2 for shipping and handling. Enjoy!

I like it how easy is it to install and if I get a solid spectra blueish color would it just color the entire vent?

My bad how much for shipping too?
Blue Batmobile

One color would cover the entire vent. Shipping is included in all orders shipped within the USA;).

So Bat, in the first pic, the vent is covered in silver and black on the sides? Just making sure...

Actually it's Spec Blue on the sides. The top pictures are darker, so the end pieces look black.

bat....is that silver u used in ur kit the same silver as the factory color ?....
Blue Batmobile

Yup! Same vinyl I use on my other kits.
Not sure about the Matrix question. I haven't seen their vents, but if they're the same design, they should work for the Matrix as well:).

Do you have a color scheme going with yer car? If not, silver/carbon blue would look good, cf too. As far as my next project, I'm going to finish my v3 Kit for the Altezza and Yangston lights next. Chidoy sent me his Yangstons, so I need to finish that. Then I'm going to concentrate on my h5 Headlight Kit. After all that, kits for the 4th and 5th gen Celicas. However, I was thinking of an overlay to cover up the seatbelt dings on the door panels:).

ah come on you have to do the dash around the cd player cause us celica owners who buy your ac vents need that to go with it. you cant leave us hanging, and unfinished.

Same question as PhatCellyGT, but in red. This is just as we discussed in PM a few weeks back. The car's going in today for interior and exterior paint work and the sides of the vent will be still grey when I get it back so I need the sides only.

How difficult is it to adhere this stuff perfectly? Like do you need to take the vents apart? I would think so, how difficult is that?
Blue Batmobile
06-04-2002, 01:42 PM
The neat thing about this kit is that you do not need to take the vents apart at all:)! I would recommend using a good pair of tweezers to position the pieces. Other than that, it's pretty simple, just take your time. It took me about 20-30 to install all the pices.

Andy,
I was thinking for the stock spoiler, you know how it is kinda divided into two sections with line going thru in the middle? Do a kit for the back part..dang wish I had pix to explain it.... and yeah it would be nice if you can make a center dash console kit as well..... i'd buy them shiet in CF in no time.... think about it Andy...
