I have a auto trans. Can anyone tell me if I need to get the CAI that's made for autos? There is only one out of 70-something other ones being sold right now. I'm looking at the replicas for now, and the ones that actually look decent all say for manuals only. Can I make it work, or am I better off sticking to the one that says for all GT models?

I don't know how the transmission would change the air intake for the engine... Try it anyway?

I don't see why it would make a difference either, except i hear people talk about how there's a screw on the transmission that gets in the way and they put tape or rubber around it. I just found one that I like and it says manual only. I guess I'll try it.

It's a gimmick. Pretty much any part will fit either auto/manual.

The auto tranny is a tighter fit, but that CAI will still work.

Cause in that topic she was deciding between SRI or CAI. Obviously in this topic, she decided CAI.
