Just remember it's no longer a hass kit it's a turbo-kits.com kit. Supposedly the problems have been fixed but I don't think anyone who has purchased one recently (if anyone) has posted about it
FYI no I am not jay hass :)
I picked up a used one hass kit from someone else - and from the kit i'm only using the injectors, the turbo, the manifold (although it is being ported, cut to help aid in preventing the warping issues, and thermal coated first), the emanage (as long as it works - might be going hydra) and possibly some of the oil lines etc (haven't gotten that far in the build to see how well they work)
Custom downpipe, custom intercooler piping, new intercooler, etc...
Do some research and you might be able to save some money and end up with at least equal if not better parts...

The kit I got seems to be working good. I'm in DIRE need of a LSD and monkeywrench has the biggest selection troubling that they have a LSD for celica's and they use the quaife. Does anyone have experience with the TRD LSD? Monkeywrench also has a cool flywheel that Im interested in as well. I haven't had much problems with the HASS since the operation of the oil line to the turbo it smokes but the intercooler had oil going into it for about 100 miles and I don't drive the thing a ton. The smoke gets better and the oil and coolant levels seem to go nowhere when I drive it hard or mild. Just baught a boost controller for 10bucks from a guy and put the psi up to 10.5 Seems to be a slow spooler. Has anyone done any junkyard grabbing from any toyota v6's for a fuel pump? Any suggestions in the way of that? The GT is fast especially on the highway and this cold weather we have is treating the car really nice. It'd be cool if there was another turbo celica in michigan that I could chat with and meet up with, know anybody?
I posted some pics of my car in my pics section if you want to see. It has nothing done to the looks besides lowering.
Thanks,
Jordy

read through my post again you two.
No where in my post do i support EITHER kit. He just asked for other options. I gave two.
As for the Greddy, a couple norcal members have the SC kit and have had none/minor issues. Nothing major.

well i'm running the hass/turbokits.com and it's been treating me good so far. still haven't found a good tuner in my area so i'm a lil lacking in that department and the guys the installed it didn't do a "GREAT JOB" if you get where i'm coming from. since april this year i've been running it kinda spiritedly and no problems yet except my clutch is slipping now. i'm lovin the kit more each time i find something that the shop messed up and fix it :) when i find a decent tune shop and put my spec stg 2 in i'll post up the numbers for ya  aslo i swapped the greddy with a PFC i picked up on ebay :gap:
