MrSpiffy: whats involved with this $50 detail? I would like deoxydation done and swirls removed does your detail do that? Just kinda curious as to what will be done with the detail.
Also if you do show detail I may be your customer if I go to shows in San Diego.

I might have to charge you a bit more if your oxydation is bad...but I should most likely be able to get it and the swirls out. Swirl removing is fairly easy, only a matter of time. They are cured by a process of polishing. By using differing levels of polishing in order of increasing strength, almost all with come out. If it is really bad, I can clay it for you. The $50 special is more of a basic ( but still high quality) detail. My details can cover whatever needs to be done, so if you come down I can hook you up with a more personalized package. If you would like me to focus on certain things (ie the oxydation) I can still adjust the price so you're taking advantage of the first-time special. It's all workable.

I won't be doing any details that day, only handing out a voucher good for the special price. So don't worry. It's good until 9/1/02. You have time if you wanna come back down, I work appointment-only anyway.

Sounds good, but you do know that there will be no detailing actually going on this Sunday. I will only be handing out vouchers good for the discounted price. I hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience to you.

BTW, I got my Celica back from the body shop today and its lookin pretty sweet. I need to take another picture of my Celica with the Clear Corners and Altezza tail lights.

You went to a body shop for clear corners and euros??? You could've done that @ home.

Na, I put the clear corners and Tail Lights in myself... Some lady in a 2000 Saturn hit me from behind this last Thursday the 30th at a stop light with 3 cars in front of me. She apologized and told me that she "misjudged her braking distance".... I felt like telling her... "well wasn't that enlightening?" but I was nice about it. I just got it back, they replaced the bumper.
