need help on varad scanner...

The Varad Blue scanner with 5 patterns and 7 LEDs. I thought I got it to work correctlly but it wouldn't turn off when I started the car. I bought it cheap with the instructions on the back all messed up. Any one who worked with this before, can you please give me any tips, shortcuts or a website with installations? I just want it on when my car is off and off when my car is on.

Is it hooked up to your alarm's ECU or to the ignition?

Yeah, do you have it hooked up your alarm? If you dont have an alarm, you'll have to put it on a switch so you can turn it off/on. Just be sure you tap a wire thats hot when the ignition is off.
