when you got the tag for your car, how much did they charge you? they said it's gonna cost me $990. WTF?! :bang: i don't have that kind of money. i just payed for the damn car!

Yeah, I remember when I registered my car after I moved to FL it was expensive (close to $200), but that's insane. Did they give you a breakdown of the pricing so you know what you're paying so much for? Sales tax on the car, maybe?

yeah. they said something about taxing the car, and the title says that i payed $12k for the car. so they want one of my arms pretty much

Yeeeah... $800 for me. That was for county sales tax too, since I technically live outside of city limits. Would have been $1200 otherwise.
