some of those decal jobs are really bad. if these guys are really sponsored (and i hope to god they are), then they should do a better job than just throwing decals all over the car, looks like one of those crazy hippies with bumper stickers everywhere.

that and the driving like crazy in traffic. for the most part it was just occaisonal flybies, but still...idiots. if you can afford cars like that, you can afford to take them to a track, and videotape that instead.

sports cars were designed to operate safely at a much higher speed than passenger cars. want to see the difference ride in my old saturn versus my celica..and my celica is just an economy car.

well your life is your own. if you don't have your own family which depends on you, i guess you don't really need to consider the consequences or risks. i probably wouldn't if i thought it was fun.

but you don't need me to remind you of the many, MANY incidents of people in expensive cars getting killed in accidents. even from things outside their control (which is partly why the speed limits are at where they are. plenty of people can control their cars at high speeds enough for commuting, but it's things you can't control that are worrisome, and a crash at 55mph isn't as bad as a crash at 100+).

and just because someone has an expensive car, doesn't mean they have the expensive skills (and yeah, racing schools are expensive, bastards) to back it up.

I've watched z06 DRIVERS think they can buy they're way into the sport and wreck and drive off the road and get worse times than anyone on the course.

So would it be ok if a Geo Metro was doing this? I know a guy that IS a professional driver that takes his car to AutoX events and seriously puts the smack down on EVERYONE. Even he wouldnt' be as dumb as these stupid ****ers. He would never ever do this, and he could sit in any of those cars and outdrive anyone of those guys..... that's the end of that statement.

I agree with everything you said.. but abotu the part about them renting out a high speed track.. given most of those guys/girls probably are rich.. but how do you thinkt hey got rich? They don't like to spend much especially on stuff they can get around ie track and go freeway instead

No you can't but what they were doing was stupid. I mean, if you really HAVE to absolutely use a highway, use it at a time when no one will be using it, and if anyone is, then you can easily avoid them. gts24 and t2000gts, i understand ur points. however, there is a part in every one of us that wants or even need to take a risk here and there.........if that's not the case they should not have made cars go over 70mph, cuz isn't that the top speed u can go leagaly??? even if u can take it to the track, isn't there a chance u can screw up and kill some1 else too?? i understand that there is much more of a chance of killing some1 on streets. i'm not saying i don't street race. but that's not street racing. street racing (a drag race on streets) only lasts a little while, and should be done on empty streets when nobody's around, and not repeatedly all night (unless you want cops on your ass).

driving around in traffic evading cops is stupid. pulling away from a cop is fun and all, but you will run into other people on the road, and that makes it stupid. i don't like how they just play with the cops because they're rich enough to afford tickets/fines/bail/whatever. even if it is funny.

maybe if it was a straight stretch of empty road with a cop car and they pulled away i would think that's cool or funny. but you've seen all those retards in police chase videos. they usually end up hitting someone else.
