road trip this summer

alright, so me and michael were just talking and we wanna do some kinda road trip/vacation this summer and wanna see if anyone else is up for it. we haven't really thought of anywhere to go but some ideas we've been throwing around are alabama to play DDR at that cool machine, savannah/tybee island just cuz it's kinda fun and i go down there a lot (and one of my favorite restaurants is there), or florida. any more suggestions are welcome, and we could probably work more than one location into this little trip. the dates that would work best with us are the week of june 24 all the way up til the july 4 weekend. let me know if you would be able to do this or if you have any suggestions of what to do or where to go.

I could really use a vacation! I'll have to see when it will make sense for me to quit work. I've been wanting to go to Savannah for a couple years now so that would be cool, and I'm always up for going to Florida and the beach. Anywhere where there is a high likelyhood of seeing hot chicks in bikinis I'm all about.

i like that idea duncan. i havent been to florida in a long time but savannah (tybee island actually) sometimes has some decent ones. maybe we should put it up as one of our places to go for sure. we just gotta decide if we wanna stay on the beach (tybee) or in downtown savannah. i know a few good places in each loacation.

I'll say FTS to the job if I have enough money saved, but since I seem to have an endless list of things to buy for my car that might not happen. The Japan idea sounds like fun too. It might be hard for us to do anything once we get there though. Are they still saying there is some terrorism threat on the 4th of july? They keap saying there are threats and nothing happens, but I'd still be nervous.

Panama City is alway full of hot chicks that are anxious to get the twins out. Myrtle beach is good too. It is several hours closer than PC maybe an hour or two farther than Savannah. A friend of mine that lives in Orlando keaps telling me to come down to Daytona. Haven't been there before though.

Cool, I didn't realize that was quote worthy. Its true though. We saw so many the last time I was there it was crazy. It could have something to do with the fact that almost everyone in Panama city is drunk most of the time.

That would be cool Cody. When I was at Nick's house he showed me one of his Japanese videos with a bunch of downhill racing and stuff. There were a couple sweet WRX's and an Evo VII. The Evo VII smoked everything exept this fully race prepped WRX. I forget the name of the tuner but it was wicked.

Probably after I quit my job would be best for me but I doubt that will be until early august. Who knows. You know it just occured to me that the other guy in my department is going to be off for the week I think of the 24th. Damn!!!!! I forgot about that. He is going back to England for his brothers wedding. That may or may not mean I couldn't get the week before that off. I'll try to find out just in case.

Well I stopped by the bike shop I used to work at today and it looks like I could easily get a part time job there if I quit Panoz. When I left there where still three other parts guys, and since then two of them moved back to florida and its just the one guy now. They seem desperate for help. Maybe I could get some better money out of them this time. That would definately open up my schedule for the rest of the summer.

I probably wouldn't be able to go until after I get back from Vegas when I go back to school I could easily do a weekend trip. With my Birthday and my trip I am going on week after next I have used all my Vacation time.

I havn't been checking the posts lately so I didn't mention it soner but we have a house in florida about 100 miles east of panama city. We are going to go down there sometime soon. Havn't made any definate plans but I'm sure if any of you would like to come along and then head onto panama city for a couple days and then come back I'm sure it could be arranged. Or something like that. It's not a big house but it is much cheaper than hotels. Nice roads down there too. just thought I'd throw that out there. Me and Miah will be going with Dad for sure.

hey, just had one other idea for a possible trip during the same time frame...there's that big nopi regionals show in pigeon forge, TN that might be fun. i think it's june 28 or somewhere around then. we might can work that into the trip if anyone is interested.
