Yes or No will suffice --- Is there a company that makes a complete engine dressup kit for the GT (like the Injen dressup kit for the GT-S)?

No, not yet. Although some people have heard of a couple of companies working on one.

You don't realy need one just do like I did and get your valve cover chromed then if you have a polished intake and a hose kit it will look nice as f**K

Where can you get your plastic valve cover "chromed"? I thought it had to be metal or aluminum to be dipped? Must have been electolisys (sp)?

Not the plastic cover, but whats under it. Thats what you get chromed.

Not yet still got to get the intake before I take pics. I'm also trying to get another Celica and I plan on doing the same thing. If you would like to know what it will look like it looks just like REDDRAGONS. His was in superstreet. I was also thinking about getting the altenator chromed but I dont really want to take it off.
If I can find a friend with a dig. cam. I'll post a pic.

Well I'm stationed in England right now and the place I went to charged me 45 pounds which is around $65.

I took it off and had it highly polished then dipped very easy but the guy had it for a week. So plan on driving something else if you get this done.

The distributer told me that the GTS dress up from Injen would fit the GT. Lies or truth? Anyone?

I don't think the Injen dress-up kit for the GT-S could fit on the GT engine. The GT-S dressup kit is 2 separate pieces one for the valve cover and one for the sparkplugs. There is a gap between the two pieces on the GT-S upon my observation of the GT engine, there's only one piece that covers the engine. Take a look at the nc.org store link and you'll see what pieces come w/the Injen Dress-up kit for the GT-S

I agree with you, but it seems like the one piece (he one that has the manifold cover) has the same bolt patter nd basic same size. The plug cover is another issue and I don't know what the deal would be there at all. Like I said, the ditributer told me that it would fit, but he's trying to make a buck. I am not sure. i am thinking of having the shop go ahead and order them and if it doesn't fit properly then I won't pay for them. I will le you guys know how it works out. If it fits, or fits a little strangely, I'll take pics and let you know. Cool?

I'm not sure how it's gonna fit on a GT but I do know on a GT-S the plug cover gives some strutbars some problems. Don't remember which brands off hand, but just to let you know....
