I am having the hardest time trying to get my back rotors off my 00 gts----what am i doing wrong? is there a book or something that'd help me? I've got the caliper off but the rotor won't budge! please help

look at the rotor hat. there should be a threaded hole, find a bolt that fits and then screw it in, after a while it should get tight and pop the rotor right off. don't worry you won't damage anything, that is what that hole is for.

Make sure that you don't have the e-brake on as well. Might be obvious, but worth mentioning. Otherwise hit it with a hammer a few times if all else fails, and you can try spraying the hub with some WD as well. If you hit it with a hammer, watch that you don't hit the lug studs.

^^ I used a 8 MM bolt from home depot to pop the front rotor.
And yea, make sure the E-brake is off. the rear rotors uses the inside hub for the E-brake.

Yea i had problems too..., there are two holes on the face of the 'drum', drill two screws in almost simultaneously to remove the rotor..., the first time i couldn't get it off, so i started to pry it manually, i messed up something so don't pry it, just put two screws in the holes... good luck!
