I would like to slightly tighten my throttle cable if i do this what will this help? I have a manual and it seems from 1st to 2nd i get a slight knock when letting out the clutch at certain times
any idea

No, but everybody else on this board who has a '02 GT-S wants to know how to get rid of the premature rev. limiter if that's what you're talking about. There's someone on this message board knows how, and we're waiting on that person right now. See the Performance discussion forum.
