I heard that there is a way to fix this if so how???

i think you need an ECU and knock sensor from an earlier model

Yes. There's a fix as mentioned above. It involved buying a '00 ECU and making it work in your '02. You need an extra knock and O2 sensor I believe. The guy is selling the kit with everything you need minus the ECU. I think a new ECU from the dealer is about $1100.

Personally, I don't think it's worth buying a new ECU. I'll wait until someone figures out how to do a stand alone aftermarket programmable ECU.
