i understand this is a very noobie question but i rather find out if there is somethin wrong then have somethin bad happen to my car.
alright so when the car is on but not moving (yes the car is warm and everythin)... is the car supposed to be at 0 rpm........ cuz mine isnt its always at like 1 rpm or 1200 rpm....... i ask this cuz i've seen videos of celicas that are at 0 rpm at a dead stop while the car is idled...

No the car should be around 800 to 1k rpms at idle.

No its suppose to idle anywhere between 500ish to 1000ish is rpm. im gonna guess the car you saw wasnt started

also my rpm needle doesnt seem to move as smooth as other celicas that i've seen or is it cuz they have turbos and i dont?

naw it was started i'm not that much of a noobie haha, look on youtube, at some of the turbod celicas

my rpm is at 750-800 when idle after car is warmed up

My engine is @ ~1500RPM (cold) and @ ~850RPM (hot)... Like everybody it seems ;) Maybe you should do a gauge recalibration... :confused:

0 rpm means your motor isnt doing anything...

Try cleaning your MAF.
is it cuz they have turbos and i dont?

Or just try recalibrating the needle.
