my g/f keeps bugging me about her breaks like if i am a mechanic or something i tell her just because i mexican does not mean i know how to fix cars. please help me ASAP so i can get her off my back and back on my jock LOL. anyways she took it to the dealer but they insist that nothing is wrong with them. you know when it rains or there is moisture on your breaks and it makes sort of a mini rumble sound like you are opening an old wooden chest, but it makes the noise all the time not just if theres moisture outside, and it only makes the noise if you are at a complete stop and gently ease off the brakes like to peak over the intersection to see if its clear to go. the dealer told her they just need to be worked in but its been 6 months. they are not squeaking like if the break pads are warped or rubbing against the rotor because its a brand new truck (ford escape) which was just bought in april of this year. please help me out ASAP so i can tell her something...any REAL help and REAL info would be appreciated...thanks

I would do is.. get a sandpaper.. and rub it to the rotors both sides to get all of the dust out and then buy brake cleaners and put it on the rotors...

Try adding copper grease (high temperature grease) to the back of the brakepads, that should do the trick!
