i need new TIRES!!

HI, I desperatley need new tires, not rims, just tires. I was wondering what brand names you guys would suggest. I don' t want really really expensive ones. Just regular all season tires

If you need snow performance, get a dedicated set of winter tires, preferably on steel rims. Winter tires are a LOT better in the winter than all seasons, and likewise for summer tires in the summer. As for the wheels, having winter tires mounted on a seperate set of wheels makes the tire changeover really easy, and alloys degrade when exposed to road salt, resulting in poor sealing and slow leaks after a few winters.

Get a summer tire set and a winter one. Yeah it'll be twice as expensive the first year, but it'll last also twice as long. In the end, its the same cost. Howerver, you were feeling much more secure in bad snowy days while grinning madly in hot summer days rubbing your rubber like a crazy mofo.

I like my Bridgestone Potenza RE730's... not a bad tire and not too expensive either.
