i am not sure if any other states are having this stupid trucks but in VA they do so i will post this on here for you guys to watch out.
i am not sure if any of you guys have seen the stupid emission trucks that smell your exhaust and take a pictures of your car if you fail the smell test. well when i had my car back for a week i passed one of these trucks and i had my stock exhaust on with a cat, but i was running really rich. so i guess thats why i failed the exhaust test not the cat test. well ether way this **** ****ing sucks i have to go and pass emissions before the 28th or ill have to pay $680 i hate VA

Really wow I have never seen it. Do you think they pulled you over random or do you think it was because of your car?

California invented this cr@p, hell our city owns one of this machine. Difference is CA is purely voluntary, but emission nazi may change that in the future.
There is another new emission technology where they can mount gas sensor and camera on freeway entrances, it will be able to detect which car have illegal exhaust and write tickets like those red-light camera and stuff.

I saw one of those in the news.. about how it takes pictures of the car and stuff.. but they never mentioned that there was gonna be a fine if not fixed.

they never pull you over. they just send a letter home with a picture of your car.

i was actually running stock cat and exhaust. the cat test passed. it was the CO that failed because i was running rich.

The picture was taken on September 12th, check the report.

i had the car back for a week. then the valve snap. the motor should be done tomorrow sucks i have work till thursday.

geez... and i thought red light cams were scary... seems they're trying to come up with anything now to nab you remotely... speeding cams, exhaust cams... are we still in the US?
