AEM or Injen?

what would you guys go with if you want to get a CAI? i hear people say aem is better and others also say injen is better. what should i get?

If you are going to get a PFC down the road, I'd get an Injen. Otherwise depends on if you want top-end power or mid-range power.

I think aem is midrange and injen is only uptop. John you got it backwards

I'd get an AEM CAI or an eBay AEM style CAI then. You should BB mod it too.

dont mean to sound like a total noob here but what is bogging?

Bogging is when the car feels like it might die and the RPMs drop down real low.
Another thing to watch for is how the CAI responds when you press in the gas. Sometimes there is a short delay.

performance wise injen > aem

Dyno queen wise, Injen > AEM/ebay. Overall power wise, AEM/ebay > Injen. AEM/ebay is only a couple hp off of Injen up top, midrange is about equal, but down low, Injen falls way behind, by like 10tq. Some dynos even show it losing power vs stock (even Injen's own dyno!). Not to mention Injen is the most bogging-prone intake since PHR.
