What to buy?

So guys i loved the hell out of my 00 Gts CELICA. it was my babe. Its like it wasnt ment to be. First i had bad synchros in tranny, then i did misshift so i had to get new motor and tranny, and then today after a month of getting car back i totalled it. Yes i totaled it. I freakin hit some Honda CRV that was hanging out in my lane. I was going into middle lane and right when i did i noticed she was in my lane still poking out and it was too late. I will post pics. So now wat to get. I had full coverage and am not sure how much i will get. I need some ideas of what to get that is like under 8500. I am thinking 02 or 04 Sentra SER Spec V. i am trying to stay Japanese. And i also want something with a little power like the Celica. I am too scarred to get another Celica. Please help with ideas.

why you scared to get another celica? if you love something, you should stick with it. thats why i bought anohter celica when i moved to cali. looked at numerous cars, but couldnt turn my back on the damn celica for some reason lol. ps you can buy mine for 6000 and ill ship it to you for 500 bucks :D drop the other cash in some mods or your liking :thumbup:

If you're staying japanese, chances are it won't be 'powerful.' I'd say get a 240sx, if you know how to swap engines, or get one already swapped.

RWD, turbo, light, handles good, can make good power. Good car.

Eclipses are good if you get lucky and its one of the one that doesnt get messed up. But I'm still pretty sure you can find a 98+ mr2 for that price. If not the 240sx is good or if you can find a 300zx maybe?

The eclipses crankwalk is rare anyway, and they have something you can buy to swap it, and it'll almost get rid of it permanently. Plus its turbo, and makes power.

id pick a mr2 turbo over an eclipse any day of the week. finding a good eclipse is rare. 2 of my friends have had theres for about a year now, one is a 1gen other is a 2nd gen with the 6 bolt head. i swear its like every week or every other week one of them is having some sort of problem. in most cases its nothing big, just something tiny, but a pain in the ass. toyota FTW

I agree with the others who said 240sx. Definetly a nice car with great potential. Kind of hard to find a newer one though.

How about this. i found an 02 Subaru Wrx 4dr sedan. Its 5speed turbo AWD. 0-60 in 6.3 and 1/4 in high 14's. It is 4 door for my brother and sister and friends. their are asking 9 but maybe get them down to like 8 or 8200. wat ya guys think
