So I maxed out my PE 525cc injectors at about 7k and the guy I was supposed to be buying bigger injectors from backed out. So it looks like I'm going to pick up a set of used 1200cc injectors from a friend's car. (High impedence top feed and all that). Anyway, I figure I may hit 50% duty cycle on these things on a good day, so Smaay or frau or someone that wants uber-power...any chance you need a set of wumba-sized injectors and want to trade? :gap:

why not just go to a return system and keep the 550s?

Well I'm using 525's and honestly I don't think I can afford a return system right now, much less have the downtime to install it...plus I'm at ~315 whp right now and don't plan on going any higher....btw how's the head porting coming?

Why not use the MWR 630cc injestors?

Because I'm a cheap ******* :gap: , he owes me so I'd be getting them for $150....I may sell them and just buy the MWR's if it comes to it though...I just knew Smaay needed to get some bigger injectors

Coming along well - didn't get anythign done this weekend because all the girls were sick and I was taking care of them, hopefully this week Erics head will be done

Nice...is that the guy with the 2zz spyder or the other guy ahead of me?...Also, on a second and completley unrelated note, if I took off the rod caps to inspect the bearings, do I need to plastigauge them when I put them back on as long as I put them back on in the same orientation (the rod bearing I mean) or can I just torque the cap back to spec?

Thats Badceli (2ZZ spyder) the other guy ahead of you I need a core for his head so I'll probably bump you to first so I can get those heads from you.
Plastigauge is to check for oil clearance which is normally part of inspecting the bearings. If you don't care about it then just clean and put a litttle assembly lube on the bearing and torque it back down.
May I ask what brand these 1200cc high impedence injectors are? I've never seen a high impedence injector that big.

Ditto. Largest I'm aware of is the 750's that we carry from RC.
