Just watched the Atco race on ESPN. It is amazing what times are being generated by the size motors being raced. If I were a paid spectator I would have been less than thrilled though as most of the races had one car make it under full (sometimes not) power.
Just out of curiousity I looked at the results from Houston to see if Atco was an anomoly. Not counting bye runs in eliminations there were 36 races. Out of those there were 17 races that were closer than 2 seconds. 2 seconds as you know is a blow out too but I had to set the bar somewhere. That is an amazing number, less than half the elimination runs could be even classified as a race. Are all the import national events like this?
