I didn't even know they made Celica convertibles... I guess you learn something new everyday.

they've made convertibles in several different years...

Usually dont see people come on here with olders celicas though since this is focused towards 2000-2005

Very true, did they make the 6th generation Celica in a convertible also?

Lol sorry Bman, I am doing Calculus homework at the moment and didn't take the time to search Celica convertible on Google.

Searching > Me

Lol, I have never seen some of these pictures before.

This is probably the only way anyone could have sufficient headroom in the rear seats of our cars without making a convertible.

Wow...you've really never seen a Celica Convertible? There's a lot of them down here in Florida. They didn't do it for the 7th gen, but I think every generation previous had a convertible. The 6th gen looks pretty sweet IMO.

Yeah, but you forget to remember that almost everyone in Florida has a convertible. Florida is responsible for 49% of convertibles and California is responsible for another 49%, leaving only 2% of convertibles for the rest of the states. I think that is why I have never seen a Celica convertible before.

This may sound like a dumb question, but are those legit stats? It wouldn't surprise me, but it sounds awfully high...

I guess anything is possible, so I can see where you wouldn't have seen a Celica Convertible in Georgia.

The percents in Florida and California I am sure are not that high, but it just seems to me that everytime I go to Florida on vacation or something everyone is driving a convertible. Anyone else get that feeling? :shrugs:

I don't know man, I used to live in florida (like 8 years ago), but back then there weren't many converts. Don't know about now, I dont go there that often, prolly haven't been down there in almost 3 years :shrugs:

Maybe its just that everytime I go to Florida I go to the beach and it seems like everytime I go to the beach there are always plenty of middle aged/old guys driving around in there convertibles. :shrugs:

Don't get me wrong...there are plenty of convetibles down here, but I definitely don't think we have 49% of the registered convertibles in the country. Probably more like 30%.

I can't believe no one caught my sarcasm when I originally made that statement... :sadpace:

I guess I am the only person who only seems to notice people driving convertibles when I go to the beach, in which I always go to Florida. Maybe Georgia just has a lower amount of people driving convertibles than most of the other states.... now that I think about, I wonder if alot of people drive convertibles that live in Atlanta? :shrugs: I have never really been inside of Atlanta before.

I guess I just need to rethink my whole stand on my stereotype of convertible cars and Florida. :wiggle:

I'm actually going to try and find the numbers now. I can't stop wondering  ..I'll let you know what I come up with.
