Will 205/55/16s fit on stock? n/t

of course it will fit.

but your gearing will suffer, your speedo will read slower than it did in oem trim, and the tall tire might look kinda funny.

I want this specific tire and the closest to stock is 55. It's the Potenza RE950. I wanted it because everyone who uses it loves it and it has a 40,000 mile warranty.

I'm getting Potenza RE730's, and supposedly they really good too. They come in the 205/50/16 stock size. They probably don't have a good of a warranty, but for the performace, a 300 on tread wair, and thier availability, they seemed to be the way to go this time around.

What I really want to do is go to a 17" Kosei K1 Racing, and Perelli P7000 215/45/17 tire, but the P7000's are always on back order, every time I try to buy them, and I'm not sure If I want to spend $800 on wheels right now.

I'd love to get the P7000 even on the stock tires, but like I said, they're currently on a 2 1/2 month back order for over 600 tires, or at least that's what the guy at the shop told me.
