Clutch burnout

Has anybody else had a problem with the clutch burning out very quickly. My clutch has burnt out at 22,000 miles which is really quick?

Yes, that is a very short life for a clutch. Do you launch hard often? I've launched hard about half a dozen times, and each time I can SMELL the clutch! How about engine braking? When you engage the clutch to engine brake, a lot of wear can occur if you don't rev match.

Apart from that, stop and go traffic is bad for a clutch, but even at that it should go at least 50k miles, I think.
