inspection in NJ

Do inspection places that charge to pass vehicle inspection charge the same fee if the car was already taken into a DMV station and failed inspection? I brought in my car and failed due to my Blitz exhaust and my side marker lights. Can someone give me a price range and any recommended places to take the car to? Thanks in advance.

you failed for side marker lights???? Do you have aftermarket lights in there, or just the clearcorners or something?!

I pass my inspection with clear side marker lights. When they were doing the dyno thing to my car. My front bumper touch the ground. They decided not to put my car on the dyno and they just test it on the flat surface. I also have TRD exhuast, AEM, Molly bodykit ect... with no prob and pass.
and oya they complain about my HID lights. they told me it was to bright and AIM a little higher. but its all good.

I passed with my clear marker lights and Nakayama (AEM) CAI. I guess your exhaust is kinda loud, though.

They complained about the blue bulbs of the side markers and my HIDS. I never thought the Blitz was that loud.

i believe if you fail in NJ you have to go back to the same location for a retest.
