I see alot of my friends at school are going this route. Instead of opting for the big ol 18's, they just drop on the stockers. I was thinking about getting a set of GT-S rims (of course I'm not gonna throw an emblem on there and make it something its not lol) and maybe get a set of springs or save up for coilover kit, although those are a little out of my price range. Right now I just had the gay stock 15"s fitted with snows since winter is right around the corner, gotta be prepared for anything up here in N.E.

I guess I'm basically wondering does anybody have a stock silver GT-S thats dropped, possibly with tint, just to keep me tempted? id appreciate any feedback or pics!! :wiggle:

i don't but if i had the money thats what i would be doing...i don't like spending money on looks except for tint..i think money should be used for performance

Ehh, well ive got the GT, so no lift for me. im not gonna waste anything on perf mods because it wont get me anywhere.

i was actually thinking about just saving the celi mod money and putting it towards an older VTEC hatch or even a 1G DSM, ill probly get flamed for that tho :D

Man, I saw one monday. It was silver, slammed on the stock wheels, only thing that made it stand out was the greddy badge over the GTS badge.

not silver, and with the trd kit but when I had my celica, I got a great deal on some gts wheels and stuck with them. Not cause it was the thing to do, but it looked simple and clean to me. Aslong as you have a decent drop the gts wheels look great.

a VTEC swapped hatch is probably the smartest thing you can do if you want to go fast

of course, suspension upgrades always make a big difference - drop the stock car - I suggest eibachs with tokico blues for a good balance between performance and ride quality
