Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I've been looking to buy an engine hoist and went in to Pep Boys today to finally get it. Their 1-ton hoist (which is more than adequate for small imports) is normally $120 and they have it on sale right now for $90 plus a $20 mail-in rebate, so $70 for an engine hoist. If you've ever rented a hoist, it typically costs more than that to rent one for two days. Also picked up an engine stand for $40. So if anyone's in the market for an engine hoist, run over to Pep Boys and pick on up while they're on sale!

Thank you good sir, I think I'm going to go pick one of these up today. How much space do they take up when folded and what not?

They're pretty compact when folded up. Probably about as much floor space as a beer fridge.

I've got one also which is foldable...best investment after my tools.

Does it have a sort of "screw type thing " that lets you tilt the engine side by side?
I strongly suggest it..

I think its probably the same thing, although I'm unsure if it comes with the spreader bar.

Yep, and it was used quite often during the last months. :)

There are two bolt hole diagonally on he head. There are special engine hooks you buy from Toyota that you attach to them.
