people with trd/ww side's

whats up i was just wondering if anyoine has seen that there trd or ww sides have been slowly coming off of the car where the 3M tape holds the side on..i mean i have the screws in all tghe right places but wherer the back of the side skirt flares out its startign to come away from the car...looks like the tape is melting away from the heat...did anyone have this problem if so what did they do ..

no problems here, worst case scenario, just unscew them, go buy some 3m tape clean ur sides w/ some kind of cleaning solution (not sure wut the body shop used) then reattatch or if your lucky the body shop that you took it to will redo it for u =)

call up wings west and they'll give you the tape for free.
mine are holding up pretty good

No problem after 2 summer and 1 winter..... and god knows how bad winter is in quebec :( hahahaha

No problem here either and we get a lot of snow and rain also. Your body shop should re-do it for you since most of them have lifetime warrenties on there install.

Did you use 3M tape adhesive to prime the surface before you applied the skirts? If not...:nono: It clearly states this several times in the instructions. The tape WONT adhere properly without this step.

If you didnt do the install yourself, take it back to whoever did and have them fix it.

ok thanx guys...the body shop i took it to did it right...i was there the whole time the were doing the install....and they did use the adhesiv cleaner....i guess i will call up ww and tell them..its not bad though..its not like my sides are falling off...the are just starting to look like they are gonna peel off...and also does anyone have a closeup pic of thiere sides...i was wonderin if anyone's sides fit totally flush in the back where it flares out...
