talked to toyota today about mis-shift

they had a gt-s in that mis-shifted from 5th to 2nd and didnt cover it under warranty.... the mechanic said that the flywheel was welded to the crank est. 14000 rpm, ouch. :AF:

In my OPINION, this is very weird.......i can understand a 3rd to 2nd misshift(which my friend did to my car) but i can't understand 5th to 2nd........even though our gears are close together, there is quite a bit of distance btw 5th to 2nd.......if i'm in 5th and wanna drop it down to 2nd, i'll have to move the shifter some distance to get it in to 2nd......it might not be a lot but, it's still a distance.......this is just my 2 cents though
