Although no final design has been chosen, here is the direction Nissan may be going with the GT-R. I like it.

that hood looks gigantic doesnt it? Imagine the cost of a CF hood for that sucker...sheesh!
Overall though, looks good. Gonna be a hard choice of cars in the next couple years. EVO VII though still calling my name.

this cannot be an official release because Nissan denies that the GTR is even under consideration for production... looks good though

It's not an official release. As far as Nissan denying the GT-R is even going to be built is subject to question. They are working on what is being labeled the GT-R that is scheduled to be released in 2003.

That looks very similar to the new Z car concept.. and I agree , I think the R34 is better looking...
BlackGT, you could have 2 Evo's for the price of a new GT-R :)

Wow thats a good photoshop. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you guys.
Yes it does look like the 350Z but isnt that the new design edge that nissan is going for. I mean it looks good and it might be a fake pic .. but might not .... i see allot of differant car ideas in there (350Z,celica,RSX,and the new v -spec)
I will be the first in line for that car,if the specs are just right !

Its defiently photoshoped. Trust me. Its not the best job either, has conflicting light sources too.

I thought you guys were referring to the Z Turbo -r that is "rumorered for 2004"

that is from the tokyo motor show. Nissan says their GT-R is ready for Global market.. coming to the U S of A rumored to possibly use the 3.5L the Z is going to use except twin turbo OR the 4.5 that the Q45 uses with supercharger.

haha i saw an ad for it in motortrend...its the infiniti g35 for sure...and from the picture i gather that it's production..... although for some reason it doesnt match with the link kindly given to us by stn-something.... weird.....it looks more like the "photoshopped" picture that we've seen.... o yah....bat.... how do u do all those cool pictures? renderings and stuff :D anyway.... i played the racer game...... somethings funky about the engine...but NICE CELICAS!!

the g35 is the SKYLINE but NOT the GTR
Skyline is just luxury coupe it will be based on the Z platform pretty much same engine and everything only offering a 5 speed auto. 4 door only.
The link I gave IS the GTR concept.
The picture at the top does look something like the g35.. but you could always just look at the real picture of it.. its already been on www.nissan.jp.co for months.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the GT-R is the 2 door performance enhanced version of the g35.

Is it just me or does it seem like everybody is switching over to Celica style headlights... GTR RSX... ummm just a thought =0)
Looks to big but clean.
I believe Ford started that headlight trend with the Focus.

Focus was released in like late 2000 and the Celi was released in like 99 in Japan?
I dunno if thats correct or not.
Actually, I think the Focus came out in Europe prior to it being introduced to the states.

Hey.. how did u get sponsored? Just wondering... im not trying to get sponsored, i just always wondered how. I'm actually trying to get out of the whole import "fix-up" car scene. I'm gonna sell my GS-T soon. Ive put way too much money into that car, think its time to move on. :rolleyes:

I hope your kit turns out nice from a quality standpoint. I was NOT impressed by their TRD style wing:( . The quality on that thing was horrible:eek:.
